this week we put the deutz engine back together and did all the measuments on the day 25 sheets I also  learned about thrust washers and what they do and are for. I also completed the day 33 sheet and watched all the videos.

this week we finished taking out the crank shaft and also took out the camshaft and look closer at the damage to the motor and found the camshaft wasnt damaged. We also learned more out how the motor works like that there is no injection pump the injectors do it all and are run by the camshaft.

this week we started taking apart a 3 cylinder deutz motor with a broke connecting rod and a hole in side the motor. we took off the head oil pan and all the pistons and started to take out the crankshaft. we saw that there was alot of scaring on the crank shaft and in the cylinder. This was probably causes by not enough oil. I learned how the oil travels on this motor becuase it is completly cooled by oil there is not antifreeze cooling it. I learned what happens when a connecting rod breaks I see a several motors before were this happened but I have never looked closer and what happened.
